The Junior Ref program is the latest addition to Santa Cruz Derby Girls. Launched as a pilot program in late 2010, the 2011 season is their inaugural year. Our Junior Refs study the rules, practice skating skills, and officiate just like our adult Track Pack. Led by Head Ref Uncle Maim and assistant coaches Izzy Deadyet and KillaHz, our Junior Refs, like our Derby Groms, range in age from 12 – 17 years old. Interested in learning more about this program?
